THE 10 STEP NANNYSCREENTM
At Nannies and Helpers, we operate on the underpinning belief, that your childrens' safety is the most important thing. That is why we have implemented a one-of-a-kind 10 step NannyScreen to ensure that no stone is left unturned. Our NannyScreen is outlined here for you below so you can see how each potential candidate is thoroughly vetted before they are ever considered as a match for your family!
Vetting will take place in the form of evaluating the resumes, cover letters, portfolios and other application materials submitted by the Nanny.
Consultants conduct a call to the Nanny to assess the suitability for a particular role and find more about the Nanny.
including communication and character assessment
Interviewed by one of our experienced consultants who will discuss their experience and qualifications, their career goals, days and hours they want to work.
First Aid and CPR Certificates
Every candidate needs to ensure they have an up to date First Aid. First Aid knowledge is invaluable for both the Nanny and the family.
Under current NSW Legislation, Nanny Agencies are required to screen all candidates via the Working with Children Background Check. This screening checks for child related offences only.
Min 2 years experience
Either 2 years’ experience as a Nanny or 12 months experience in a Childcare Centre and 12 months as a Nanny.
Full background check and police clearance
As domestic staff, nannies and housekeepers often work unsupervised in private homes. On behalf of our clients, we feel it is imperative that our candidates are fully screened and have a police clearance.
Social Media Review
Consultants want to make sure a Nanny will be a good fit with their agency.
In-Depth Reference Checking (3 referees)
After a successful interview, we will check the Nannies references to confirm and help learn more about the Nannies work history, education, and characteristics.
Legal to work in Aus
This ensures that all of our Nannies have an ability to commit to families for minimum of a year legally.
